ic! berlin X Mercedes Benz Collaborate Again For 2021 Sunglasses Collection

Berlin, Germany – Luxury eyewear manufacturer ic! berlin and esteemed automotive company Mercedes-Benz join forces to launch another sunglass line after their first successful joint design cooperation last year. The new collaborative collection, launched 8th July, 2021 introduces five adventurous, sporty, and sophisticated sunglass styles. This latest collection is a modern fusion of ic! berlin’s pure design aesthetics and the bold, avantgardist Mercedes-Benz driving experience.

This collaborative collection brings 5 new sunglasses – MB 04, MB 05, MB 06, AMG 02 and MB Shield 02. Two new colors – Yellow and Blue are also added to the palette of the stainless steel. Each pair is equipped with high-performance ZEISS lenses, guaranteeing the best visibility for drivers. They are designed for people who want to emphasize their own individual style and go through life with curiosity.

Mercedes Benz Classic
Mercedes Benz Classic Collection delivers subtle yet expressive accents of the current Mercedes-Benz color palette and sporty lens shapes. The vehicles’ design language is reinterpreted into each eyewear piece, shaping a symbiotic existence with uncompromising craftsmanship quality. MB04 is different from the classic teardrop aviator. This stylish angular shape achieves a more playful and unique look. MB05 is available in 3 colour ways, each with it own unique colour accent highlighting its dynamic brow-line. MB06 features elegant 2 tone gradient lenses by Zeiss. All proportions are considered when it comes to the styling of this sunglasses.

AMG
The refined, sporty look is further intensified in the AMG models. Embodying performance luxury, the new AMG 02 is bold with deeper lenses and logo etching on the lens. The upper bar is painted in a contrastive color to make accentuation on cool sporty look.

Mercedes Benz | Conceptual Design
The Highlight of this collection is the MB Shield 02, a futuristic design with a progressive monolens shield inspired by the Mercedes-Benz AVTR concept car. For the extra iconic staging, this frame comes with a playful patterned lens featuring the logo monogram of Mercedes-Benz’s iconic three-pointed star.
