At the beginning of 2020, the world was plunged into chaos as COVID-19 became a part of our daily reality. We knew our “Normal” would be altered forever, but we didn’t quite know how. For Art’s Sake from London started to imagine a world beyond their couch – channeling lockdown frustration into a bold 3D video campaign.
Episode one sees a woman on her couch in a typical lockdown scenario. As we zoom into her face, we realise where she is in her mind: a futuristic Santorini-inspired setting free from worry or care.
The second and third instalments also channel this desire for escapism: the second is set in a decadent hotel room while the third transports us to a bath in the middle of a utopian flower field.
The videos feature three standout sunglasses frames, the second of which is a limited-edition pair of shades released in collaboration with hong kong’s Puyi Optical.
