Yohji Yamamoto eyewear introduces a bold, refreshing evolution of signature Sun + Optical silhouettes for this season. Forest introduces serene cool tones and earthy neutrals, mixed with industrial metals, in striking, yet effortless designs. Each new style balances volume with lightness; with the Metal styles crafted in signature Duralumin. Contrasting natural influences with industrial, precise detailing, sculpted nose-pads and temple tips bring new, tactile ‘YY’ signatures to the collection.
The Acetate styles achieve great depth – mixing transparent, solid and pearl tones from the season’s palette, inspired by archival pieces from the Yohji Yamamoto Fall 2015 Menswear Collection. The Look Book was art directed by James West and photographed by Fabien Kruszelnicki, Editors-in-Chief of HERO / HEROINE Magazine. In a beautiful collaboration with artist Yan Skates, the result is introduced as a limited edition Art Book, which accompanies the release.
A moment in the forest – finding patience, in the breath of life.
