Jennie from BLACKPINK, the record-breaking K-pop girl band has teamed up with the Korean’s most trending eyewear brand GENTLE MONSTER to launch a collection, dubbed “JENTLE HOME” comprising the name of Jennie and Gentle. Back in May of last year, Jennie posted an obscure photo on Instagram somehow hinting the collaboration with Gentle Monster. After almost a year, the whole project finally came to light. We can see Jennie starred in for the brand in some stylish, surreal campaign photography shot by top fashion photographer Hugo Comte.
The Jentle Home collection offers a series of diverse frames, readily available to be styled in various ways with the oversized sunglasses KUKU, which are named after Jennie’s adorable Pomeranian Kuma , slim fit 1996, retro metal DAISY, and optical frame IN THE MOOD. The collection also features a special accessory collection of eyewear chains accentuated with a signature JENTLE logo. To find out more, visit gentlemonster.com
Apart from the eyewear collection, GENTLE MONSTER actually produced something that is really “HOME”. The brand is building up a “Jentle Home” pop-up space in Seoul, which is inspired by the dollhouse Jennie owned when she was a child. A part of the “Home” will carry the collection but right now it’s just partly opened probably due to coronavirus epidemic. The “Jentle Home” is anticipated to be fully opened somewhere between months of May and July. Take a peek of the “Jentle Home” on Instagram, photos taken by some fans!
